My name is Steve Jacob and like so many men out there, after being sick and tired of being dateless, I spent months desperately trying to turn around my life and start dating the kind of women I wanted.

I was never that good with women. I spent most of my twenties without a girlfriend. So when I met my long term girlfriend Kim in 2006, it was amazing. I treated her well and we had a great relationship, However, in January 2008, she broke up with me and started dating another guy. I was devastated and I tried to get her back. I honestly didn't know how long it would be before I could get another girlfriend.

I Spent Months Alone, Not

After Kim broke up with me, my social life took a total downturn. I spent my Saturday nights alone, or hanging out with my guy friends. My life was just work, TV and hanging out with friends. My dating life was non existent. Some of my friends used to make fun of me because I couldn't get a date to save my life and things didn't get any better from there.

After a few months of a non existent sex life I actually did get set up on a date by my buddy and his wife. However, after the date I moved in to kiss the woman and she actually backed away from me. She told me she just wanted to be friends. My confidence was shattered. The first date I had for months wasn't attracted to me in the slightest. I went home and actually cried. I was at rock bottom.

That was the point when I realized I had to do something about it.

I Tried The Pick Up Artist

At the time, becoming a pick up artist was the 'in thing' to do and after speaking to two of my friends who had had moderate success with it, I decided to give it a go.
